The Dior Couture Fall Winter 2021 fashion show impressed us
with precious embroidery, mesh details and feathers. The beauty look created by
Peter Philips , creative director of the make up division of the French maison,
takes up this mood with a clean and sophisticated proposal, with a focus on the
look.
To characterize the look in a decisive way is in fact an

We asked Peter Philips how the inspiration to give life to
this Dior make up Fall Winter 2021 2022 was born. The make up artist explained
to us: "One of the first things Maria Grazia asked was to include blue in
this beauty look. The starting point was electric blue, but we noticed it was
too intense, so we worked to find the right shade ".
"As for the shape - continues Philips - we were
inspired by the look of the pre-fall collection with the eyeliner applied on
the lower lid. With this proposal we have found the right balance between a
punk look and an elegant look, just like Maria Grazia. Chiuri wanted ".
When we ask him what the message conveyed by this proposal
is, he responds decisively: "The message is about feeling good, looking
good, Maria Grazia (Chiuri ed) must be happy with it, she must feel it hers.
The make-up must be in harmony with the show, with the line of clothes, with
the hairstyles, with the set design, it is a whole that conveys the designer's
vision ".
Face makeup
The face is natural, enhanced by the products of the Dior

"The skin was then primed with Dior Backstage Primer or
Dior Forever Primer , depending on the model's skin type," explained Peter
Philips.

Eye make-up is undoubtedly the focus of this couture
proposal. Peter Philips told us: "The base of the eyeliner was created
